About the Stevens Point Sixers Berens-Scribner American Legion Post 6 Baseball Team

The Stevens Point Sixers Berens-Scribner American Legion Post 6 Baseball Team is affiliated with the Wisconsin American  Legion organization and has been part of the Stevens Point community since 1963. The mission of the  American Legion is to enhance the well-being of America's veterans, their families, our military, and our  communities by devotion to mutual helpfulness. The American Legion's vision statement is "The American  Legion: Veterans Strengthening America." Baseball is one of many programs that the American Legion provides  to area youth. American Legion Baseball is one of the most prominent amateur athletic leagues with  approximately 3,500 teams across the United States, with 220 of those teams are located right here in  Wisconsin. The program provides area youth between the ages of 13 to 19 with an opportunity to play  baseball at a competitive level. The American Legion is very proud of their former players who have excelled in  the field of baseball and have gone as far as to play college and professional baseball while others have  become successful adults in their chosen careers. The goal is for all players to contribute to their local  communities through volunteer work and maintain a high standard of integrity now and into the future.

Bukolt Field is home to the Stevens Point Area Senior High Boys Baseball teams, the Pacelli Boys Baseball team, the Stevens Point Youth Baseball Association, and the Stevens Point Sixers Berens-Scribner American Legion Post 6 Baseball teams.
